Free Conversation Club in the Heart of Aachen!

Right in the center of Aachen, in a beautiful historic building at Hof 7, something truly unique is happening — a free German conversation club for Ukrainians and other migrants. This is not just a language course — it’s a space for meetings, sharing experiences, making friends, and integrating into society.

This club was created with love and support by German volunteers — native speakers who generously share their knowledge, culture, and traditions. They are not just teachers — they become your friends, part of your new community. The atmosphere is incredibly warm, welcoming, and open to people of all ages and nationalities. It’s a place that feels like home.

No one here will judge or pressure you — instead, you’ll be encouraged and inspired. Language practice happens through real conversations, everyday topics, interactive exercises, humor, and kindness.
There are four amazing teachers in the club, each with their own unique style.
Jürgen focuses on structure and grammar — he makes it easy to understand how the language works.
Ruth brings in interesting modern articles which we read and discuss — it’s always engaging and relevant.
Tulga works more with textbooks and exercises and organizes museum and exhibition visits — thanks to her, we experience German culture firsthand.
Heike is the heart and soul of the club — conversations with her are always joyful, warm, and sometimes delicious (she often brings homemade treats!) with a deep dive into German traditions.
Each day in the club has its own style, which makes learning rich and inspiring. Personally, this club has been a lifeline for me during my adaptation process.
🧡 This place feels like family. You can join any day, no prior registration needed. It doesn’t matter what your language level is — there’s space for everyone. Though A1–A2 is recommended.
