Kolping Bildung Deutschland Aachen gGmbH is an educational center in Aachen (Jülicher Str. 318–320) and part of the Kolping Bildung Deutschland network.
The center offers vocational retraining (Umschulungen) leading to officially recognized qualifications,
partial qualifications (Teilqualifikationen, TQ) as modular programs that allow participants to gradually obtain a full profession
or validate their experience, and short-term qualification courses (Qualifizierungen) for professional development.
It also provides language and integration courses (Integrations- und Deutschkurse), including literacy and job-preparation programs, as well as tailored projects for refugees, migrants, and young people.
These include career coaching, assistance in finding training placements, internships, and employment, as well as support in adapting to the German education and labor market. Kolping Aachen offers individual educational and social support, guidance for the recognition of foreign qualifications, and assistance in professional and social integration.
Funding options include Bildungsgutschein (education voucher) covering up to 100% of course costs through Jobcenter or Employment Agency, Qualifizierungschancengesetz (QCG) for employees seeking further training, Ausbildungswege NRW for youth coaching and career guidance, Aufstiegs-BAföG or Bildungsprämie for career advancement, and additional programs funded by the EU and the German Federal Ministry of Labour (ESF).
All programs aim to support professional development, integration, and a successful career start in Germany.
