An Expert Group on the Protection of the Rights of Ukrainian Citizens in Germany has commenced its work under the Ukrainian Parliament Commissioner for Human Rights. Anastasiia Malyshenko is an official member of the Expert Group and supports Ukrainians in matters concerning the protection of their rights and legitimate interests. The Group operates on a civic and voluntary basis and is committed to supporting Ukrainian citizens living in Germany.
Its main areas of work include:
monitoring compliance with the rights of Ukrainians in Germany;
cooperation with state authorities and human rights organisations;
preparing recommendations on the protection of citizens’ rights;
human rights education and analytical work.
