Info
On Thursday, April 16, at 6:30 PM, Klösterchen will host a screening of the documentary film “Kein Land für niemand”, organized in cooperation with partners. The event combines the film presentation with a subsequent public discussion.
The discussion will focus on the work of Café Zuflucht, which will serve as the main discussion partner on stage. Key topics include the impact of current German federal migration policies as well as the role of European Union decisions in shaping the situation of refugees.
A central element of the event will be the participation of three invited speakers with lived experience of forced migration. They will share personal insights into their journeys, challenges, and integration experiences in Germany. This will complement analytical perspectives with authentic, first-hand accounts.
The event has already been announced on the Klösterchen website https://www.arbeit-umwelt-kultur.de/ and the city’s official platform. Media representatives have been informed, though coverage is still pending.
A symbolic highlight of the event will be the boat from the political art initiative “100 Boats – 100 Million People”, previously presented in Berlin and Brussels. It represents global migration movements and the human stories behind the statistics.
