The “Integration through Sport” award honors clubs, organizations, and individuals who volunteer and contribute sustainably to integration through sport in the city of Aachen. The award recognizes projects with a special social, health-promoting, or educational focus.

The “Integration through Sport” support award will be presented for the 14th time in 2025. The award honors sports clubs, youth welfare organizations, migrant self-organizations, and other institutions, as well as dedicated volunteers, for their exceptional and sustainable contributions to integration through sport in the city of Aachen.

Detailed applications must be submitted via email to, or – if necessary – by post to the Department of Sports.

Applications should clearly describe the activities, projects, and their outcomes. These may include training sessions, educational programs, or special offers that go beyond everyday sports and emphasize health-related aspects.
